The business word tends to divide people into two camps. On one side are the strategic, linear thinkers while on the other you have the creatives. But, organisations need both to truly succeed. I pride myself on being the perfect combination of both, able to easily navigate between the two. This has enabled me to become a master in information synthesis, consumer understanding, and trend analysis.
I joined The Silk Initiative as part of the company’s internship programme and have since gone on to become a full-time Associate Consultant. In my time at TSI I have already developed a very wide range of technical approaches to research, strategy and innovation planning which means I can keep clients up-to-date, providing critical value-adds for any engagement.
A graduate of New York University, I majored in integrated marketing and am especially enthusiastic about the use of digital. I use this passion to manage the TSI Chinese-language WeChat site as well as our Chinese digital marketing. It also serves me well in monitoring the dynamically changing Chinese market.
On the weekends, I enjoy going to art galleries, watching the latest films, and trying to stay up on all the new restaurants opening across Shanghai. In fact, I’m actually a Dianping VIP and post my reviews at least once a week.
